Madhvi Chittoor is a 12-year renowned climate activist and UN child advisor from Colorado. Madhvi shared her inspiring journey of fighting for sustainability since the age of six. In addition to many other accomplishments, Madhvi was successful in eliminating styrofoam from her school district’s cafeterias, and highly instrumental in getting state legislation passed to eliminate plastics and forever chemicals known as PFAS from our soil, air, and water.

Madhvi shared her experiences meeting with government representatives at all levels including two Colorado governors, congressional leaders, senators, the Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, and even Vice President Kamala Harris to discuss climate action and advocate for sustainable practices.

Madhvi's work is a true inspiration to both children and adults to make a difference and change the world.

As a UN Child Advisor representing North and America, Madhvi meets monthly with other child advisors from around the world to discuss, raise awareness, and make recommendations about climate dangers impacting youth globally.
